How Will AARLC Make a Difference?
AARLC recognizes Republican support by African Americans must only go up if we are to maintain control as the majority party of all America. AARLC envisions Black America and conservatives that share most core values as sine qua non, a necessary and timely alliance. This lost alliance renewed would be formidable and the substratum to secure and insure the completion of the unfinished business of the conservative movement.
Hence, the African American Republican Leadership Council (AARLC) labors to raise African American support of Republican public policies and candidates to a strategic target of 25 percent. This target is not arbitrary but empirically based as the necessary threshold of African American support needed to make the overwhelming difference in races where the black electorate can be the deciding vote or give the edge to closely contested races for victory when they support Reaganomic public policies, challengers or incumbents.
